Job Summary
Perform cable testing and documentation for all media types while installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic systems and networks. Handle optical fiber-related tasks including cable pulling, suspension, fusion splicing, and testing in compliance with NEC and local regulations. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality service to business and residential customers by documenting work performed at each site. Interpret prints and follow color-coordinated routing while adhering to safety guidelines and PPE requirements. Work in various weather conditions and environments, including heights up to 30 feet and confined spaces like manholes. Requires a valid Florida driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to lift 50 pounds and carry 25 pounds consistently.

- Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods

- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Ability to follow safety guidelines, including wearing required PPE
- Capability to work in various weather and environmental conditions
- Strong work ethic with the ability to complete tasks neatly and efficiently
- Ability to interpret prints and follow color-coordinated routing
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- college or technical/vocational training
- Basic computer and home networking knowledge
