Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment including mini-excavators, skid steers, and front-end loaders to maintain ponds, lakes, and stormwater control measures. Perform manual labor tasks such as grading, erosion repair, planting, mowing, invasive species removal, and site stabilization while adhering to all safety guidelines. Lead by example to ensure a safe and productive work environment, participating in safety meetings and motivating team members. Requires ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in various weather conditions around water and slopes. Full-time position in Charlotte, NC with pay of $18–$24 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in pond/lake maintenance, landscaping, erosion control, or stormwater maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Comfortable working around water, slopes, and environmental risks (bees, poison ivy, etc.)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to motivate team members
