Job Summary
Install and repair broadband services while educating customers on their use, utilizing hand tools in various outdoor environments. Solve complex technical issues and navigate company vehicles across changing terrains, including inclement weather and confined spaces. Carry equipment weighing up to 75 lbs and climb ladders up to 32 feet to complete assignments at customer premises and company facilities. Maintain a valid driver's license with a safe driving record and travel as necessary to assigned locations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in using computers and software applications
- Competent in using hand tools
- Valid Driver's license with safe driving record within company standards
- Walk over various terrains and weather conditions while carrying tools and equipment
- Safely use weight-bearing equipment (up to 345 lbs)
- Lift up to 75 lbs
- Climb ladders up to 32 feet
- Work in confined spaces and at heights
- Operate and navigate a company vehicle in changing environments
- Work with small components and wires
- Work outdoors for extended periods in any season and inclement weather
