Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations and in the shop, covering engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and lifting components. Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic welding while following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Complete service documentation, manage parts for repairs, and maintain a clean company vehicle and work environment. Participate in technical training and support a strong safety-first culture. Requires a high school diploma, three years of forklift repair experience, valid driver's license, and ability to travel. Hourly pay with performance bonuses and ESOP.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of forklift repair or closely related equipment service experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment
- Ability to use precision measuring tools
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel to customer sites
