Job Summary
Collect required field data in compliance with the assigned Statement of Work (SOW) using RTK, hot stick, iPad, MiFi, and company vehicles. Perform field-level Quality Control checks, make safe access decisions, and notify leadership of inaccessible areas. Work around roadways and measure poles/midspans safely and accurately, while maintaining and reporting maintenance needs for all assigned tools and equipment. Complete documentation and upload field data using mobile or computer devices. Communicate effectively with property owners, field managers, and team members, and assist with job-specific guidance, training, and peer support as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in applicable software or devices
- Ability to read and interpret project schematics
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable with physical activities such as climbing, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Must pass background check, alcohol screening, and drug testing
- Ability to travel, work weekends, overtime, and be on call as required
- Strong verbal communication and professionalism when interacting with clients, teammates, and the public
- Must pass the standard REI physical agility test
- Safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds for 350 feet in one (1) minute while traversing uneven and multi-surfaced terrains in approved work attire
- Extend and retract a 50' fiberglass Extendo measuring stick in a safe and appropriate manner two (2) times in a maximum of five (5) minutes
- Walk one half (1/2) mile in 12 minutes or under while traversing uneven terrain in proper work attire
- Demonstrate adequate neck mobility and the ability to observe surroundings at various head angles
