Job Summary
Perform service activities at job sites and customer locations for Peterson fleet equipment. Travel to customer sites to conduct maintenance and repairs, including diagnosing malfunctions and rebuilding engines, transmissions, and hydraulic components. Write service reports documenting diagnoses and repairs, and prepare work orders, parts lists, and timecards using required service software. Maintain a safe working environment, ensure company vehicles are clean and operational, and keep customers informed on work status. Operate company or personal vehicles as needed. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to become CDL certified, and at least six years of heavy equipment repair experience. Based in Longview, WA, with an hourly wage range of $39.00 - $45.00.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree from a fully accredited college or technical/vocational school in Diesel Technology or other closely related field
- Minimum of 6 years of directly related experience in heavy equipment repair
- Experience in a heavy industrial environment
- Valid driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record
- Ability to become CDL certified
- DOT Medical Card
- Ability to maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance
