Job Summary
Conduct health and safety compliance checks, provide first aid, perform health screenings, and draw blood when certified across diverse worksites. Operate a company vehicle for extended periods and long distances to reach construction, refinery, and other job locations. Ensure incident reporting accuracy and articulate safety instructions clearly to teams. Work 2-3 days per week in 10-hour shifts with an on-call rotation for overnight and weekend duties. Requires EMT, Paramedic, LVN, or equivalent licensure, plus a clean motor vehicle record and successful background and drug screening.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Must be insurable by our motor vehicle insurance policy (minimum 3 years driving history or documented defensive driving training; no severe driving record "hits")
- Pass a criminal background check (as permitted by law)
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance with drug testing policy requirements
- EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, or equivalent
- Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse
- Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant
- Excellent communicators
- Comfortable with public speaking
- Able to articulate instructions clearly
- Comfortable standing, walking, sitting, and climbing stairs for extended periods
- Willingness to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods and long distances is essential
- Immunization against hepatitis B
Desired Qualifications
- Work an alternative work week, 2-3 days/10-hour shifts
- On-Call rotation of some overnight and weekend shifts is required
