Job Summary
Field Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of material handling equipment at customer sites, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring maximum uptime. Travel across the assigned region to service multiple makes/models (electric forklift systems, LPG/diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, etc.), communicate clearly with customers, and assist with shop repairs when needed. Work with the Parts Department to identify and return parts efficiently; operate a fully equipped service vehicle and deliver high-quality service, building trusted relationships with customers.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment in the material handling industry
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills
- Driver’s license with good driving record; CDL preferred
- Must provide own tools
