Job Summary
Conduct health and safety compliance checks, provide first aid, perform health screenings, and draw blood when certified across diverse worksites including construction and refineries. Operate a company vehicle for extended periods and long distances while responding to incidents. Ensure health and safety compliance, provide first aid and incident reports, and perform health screenings. Maintain excellent communication skills to articulate instructions clearly to the public. Work 4 days of 10-hour shifts with an on-call rotation for overnight and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, or equivalent
- Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse
- Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant
- Must be insurable by our motor vehicle insurance policy (minimum 3 years driving history or documented defensive driving training; no severe driving record "hits")
- Pass a criminal background check (as permitted by law)
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance with drug testing policy requirements
- Excellent communicators
- Comfortable with public speaking
- Able to articulate instructions clearly
- Comfortable standing, walking, sitting, and climbing stairs for extended periods
- Willingness to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods and long distances is essential
- Immunization against hepatitis B
