Field Technician - Multi-Family

Job Summary

Perform general laborer tasks including excavation, demolition, carrying supplies, setting up scaffolding, minor carpentry, and tool maintenance as directed by the Site Supervisor. Dig, lift, and move equipment and materials; unload trucks, stack, and store supplies while protecting lumber from weather exposure. Maintain job site cleanliness by sweeping interiors, containing debris, and keeping model homes tidy. De-ice, shovel snow, and supply heat to homes during winter. Mark excavated areas and trenches for safety and report any hazards or damage immediately. Operate hand and power tools with a valid driver's license and CSTS certification. Work primarily outdoors in all weather conditions, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with occasional weekend or evening travel between designated job sites.

Required Qualifications

  • General construction safety knowledge
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Reliability
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools
  • Valid driver's license
  • Criminal Background check
  • Ability to lift on a daily basis (weights may reach 50+ pounds)
  • Near and far vision
  • Verbal interaction capability
  • Ability to work at high levels on ladders, scaffolding and climb stairs
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm availability
  • Occasional weekend and/or evening availability

Desired Qualifications

  • Valid CSTS certification
  • WHMIS certification
  • First Aid certification
  • Fall Arrest certification
  • Lift Equipment course completion
