Job Summary
Field Technician (Mechanic) to maintain and repair Pump, Power & HVAC equipment at EquipmentShare’s onsite Rayville facility; responsibilities include diagnosing issues, creating and updating work orders, tracking service intervals, ordering parts, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC, and air compressors; travel to customer sites as needed; operate with laptops/tablets, document work, assist in training lower-level technicians, ensure OSHA compliance, and participate in ongoing OEM training; on-call scheduling with additional compensation and potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair
- Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- EPA 608 certification is preferred or obtainable within 6-12 months
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend; lift up to 50 pounds
- Work may involve travel to customer sites and shop; safety-sensitive position with drug screen requirement
