Field Technician (Mechanic) (Pump, Power & HVAC)

Job Summary
Create, assign, and monitor work orders while tracking service intervals and diagnosing issues using our T3 platform's real-time data. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, HVAC equipment, and air compressors at the Advanced Solutions facility or customer job sites. Troubleshoot failures in the shop and on-site, operate equipment individually or with a team, and assist in training lower-level technicians. Maintain electronic documentation of all work performed daily and handle equipment and parts logistics. This role offers Monday-Friday hours with overtime pay and includes on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
- EPA 608 certification is preferred. If you do not already have the certification, you should be able to obtain it within 6-12 months of employment
