Job Summary
Use diagnostic technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues across hundreds of makes and models. Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer-owned heavy equipment and aerial lifts. Assist in training lower-level technicians, maintain electronic documentation of work performed, and support equipment and parts pick-up and delivery. Travel to customer job sites for repairs when required and maintain the service vehicle in a clean, professional manner.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment
- Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service skills
- Teamwork skills
- Verbal communication skills
- Written communication skills
- High School diploma
- Trade school certificate
- Experience in field service
- Experience in maintenance and repair
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to move freely
- Must be able to stand freely
- Must be able to stoop freely
- Must be able to bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be clean shaven
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
