Job Summary
As a Field Technician III in Savannah, GA, you will perform on-wing and off-wing engine maintenance including engine changes, comply with work-scope instructions, and maintain approvals for repair stations while interfacing with customers. The role requires ability to work varying shifts, travel domestically and internationally up to 80%, lift up to 50 pounds, pass an eye exam, and adapt to a safety-sensitive environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience with FAA A&P license (or an associate degree with 2+ years of experience), be a US citizen or permanent resident, and be willing to undergo FAA/DOT background checks and drug screens. Preferred qualifications include prior Rolls-Royce gas turbine engine experience, customer-relations experience, logbook familiarity, FAR145 repair station release experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and borescope experience, with relocation assistance provided if applicable.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul experience with FAA Airframe & Power Plant License, OR Associate degree with 2+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul with FAA Airframe & Power Plant License
- Ability to pass a required eye exam
- Lift up to approximately 50 pounds
- Must be US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
- FAA designated safety-sensitive position
- Pre-employment FAA/DOT background check and drug screen per FAA-mandated rules
