Job Summary
Field Technician III for HVAC rental equipment performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and startup/commissioning of air-cooled/water-cooled chillers, air conditioners, air handlers, pumps, and related components at customer sites; reads electrical schematics and manuals; assists with equipment installation, setup, operation, and demobilization; calculates cooling loads and supports equipment selection; completes service reports and maintains vehicles/tools; may work overtime and participate in emergency responses; requires HS diploma/GED, 7–10 years HVAC experience, EPA 608 certification, TWIC (as applicable), and valid driver’s license; willingness to travel locally and respond to after-hours needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 7–10 years of experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC equipment
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card
- Experience with low-temperature applications is preferred
