Job Summary
Install, test, and resolve problems with commercial mowers at customer sites while providing training and serving as the primary contact for problem resolution. Lead mechanical and electrical installations for automating future trucks and provide testing and operating feedback on Mobius Software features. Manage end-to-end testing with multiple teams before production deployment and exercise judgment in determining software readiness. Travel up to 50% of the time during the busy commercial mowing season.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of Field Technician experience
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time durring our busy season of commercial mowing
- Can lift and carry test equipment on a regular basis
- Experience with customers and end users
- Understanding of the requirements for the product being tested, including how the user will use the product
- Provide testing and operating feedback
- Lead in managing the mechanical and electrical installations in automating future trucks
- Serve as a customer contact for problem resolution
- Work within a highly collaborative environment where developers, testers and the business work together as a team to deliver the best possible software
- Exercise good judgment in weighing the forces involved in determining software readiness
- Comfort using Windows, Linux or Unix as the primary work platform
- Experience with JIRA or a similar bug tracking system
- Experience working in an Agile Environment
- Experience testing desktop, client/server and web applications
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with testing tools is a plus: SmartBear, TestComplete, Winnium, Selenium, JMeter. Fit/FitNesse, SoapUI, Watir, or similar
- Truck driving experience is preferred
