Job Summary
Field Technician I with an interest in the shipping industry, responsible for coordinating with vessel crews and port agents to schedule attendances, performing sampling aboard ocean-going vessels, and transporting samples to the laboratory for analysis. Requires adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to preserve sample integrity and accurate results, and the ability to work safely in port and industrial environments following safety protocols. Requires an Associate’s degree or higher in chemistry, microbiology, environmental science, or related field (or equivalent experience), 1+ years of applicable experience, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. compensation ranges from $22 to $25 hourly with benefits including health, retirement, training, paid time off, and equal opportunity employment.

- 1+ years of applicable experience
