Job Summary
The Entry Level Field Technician I is responsible for performing various testing, project-specific observations, and site assessment duties under supervision. Key responsibilities include operating testing equipment for materials like soil and concrete, maintaining detailed documentation of test results, and using drawings and specifications for accurate observations. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, have the ability to travel up to 25%, lift heavy items, and work in varying weather conditions. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with basic construction experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record
- Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing)
- Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures
- Ability to climb occasionally, and work at various heights
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months of construction related experience
- ACI Certification
