Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain Caterpillar equipment at customer sites using diagnostic tools and rigging gear. Troubleshoot engines, powertrains, electrical, and hydraulic systems while planning projects to control job costs. Investigate problems to make recommendations and communicate effectively with clients using internal software. Requires a valid driver's license, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to stand for eight hours daily. Travel frequently to work with customers across Washington, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, and Alaska.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of heavy equipment mechanic / technician experience
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and Outlook
- Ability to stand up to eight hours per day, including twisting, bending, squatting, sitting, stooping, and kneeling
- Flexibility to travel for extended periods to work with customers
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working at a Caterpillar (CAT) dealership or with CAT products
