Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming Switchgear materials against purchase orders and packing lists. Accurately store materials in designated warehouse locations and execute picking and kitting processes for production orders. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely while performing regular cycle counts and inventory reconciliation. Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or quality issues, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Collaborate with production, quality, and shipping departments to ensure smooth material flow. This role requires a high school diploma, 1-3 years of logistics experience, and forklift certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience (1-3 years) in a logistics, warehouse, or material handling role
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory and documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety guidelines, and material specifications
- Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and practices
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Switchgear (SWGR) components or similar large industrial equipment
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment; certification preferred
