Job Summary
Perform landfill Perimeter and Working Face Air Monitoring in compliance with SCAQMD Rules 403 and 1150, using testing equipment and special field apparatuses. Prepare field notes, upload and summarize monitoring data, and coordinate with project managers while participating in client meetings to explain work details. Fill out paperwork, submit reports, and assist with general office tasks, exercising judgment on work details and applying standard methods. Requires OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and 1-2 years of experience, preferably with a construction background. This role offers potential growth into a staff-level position with training in asbestos and lead-based paint certifications.
