Job Summary
Field Technician for FlashParking: install, commission, test, and troubleshoot Flash equipment at client sites within Central Florida (Orlando/Jacksonville). Role involves on-site support, collaboration with Project Managers, and hands-on electrical/networking work in parking facilities. Travel up to 25% and strong customer-service focus required; duties include installing, commissioning, testing hardware/software, diagnosing issues, and ensuring systems meet project specifications prior to handoff. Requires PARCS experience, access control/CCTV familiarity, LAN/WAN knowledge, and the ability to learn new hardware; valid US driver’s license and communications skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- PARCS experience
- Access Control/CCTV experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, Associate's Degree or a Technical School Certification in a related field (or equivalent education) is preferred.
- General knowledge of LAN/WAN networks and associated components
- Experience installing local networks and working with relays
- Network+ certification preferred
- CompTIA A+ certification a plus
- A valid U.S. Driver’s License

- General knowledge of low and high voltage wiring or commercial electrical knowledge
- Troubleshooting methodologies and quality testing
- Attention to detail
- Ability to learn and adapt to new hardware/electronic components
- Comfortable working autonomously in uncontrolled environments (parking facilities)
- Documentation skills
