Job Summary
Field Technician- EPG: performs field service and repair of equipment including diesel engines, electric power generators, and hydraulic/electrical components. Plans and performs minor repairs, orders/returns parts, and conducts preventive maintenance per factory guidelines. Works in shop or on customer sites, requires independent and team work, strong customer service, and safety compliance. Must have valid driver's license, high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year mechanical repair experience; OSHA and MSHA training preferred. Training programs and on-the-job instruction are emphasized to advance in classification based on attitude, skill level, and performance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Technical training preferred
- A minimum of one (1) year's work experience involving mechanical repairs or a combination of relevant experience and equivalent technical education
- Experience using personal computers and basic typing skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license to be eligible for hire.
