Job Summary
Diagnose problems with generators, air compressors, and HVAC equipment, then perform all associated repairs possible in the field. Locate and order parts as required, coordinating with parts drivers to transport components to work sites. Write detailed service reports for internal and external requirements while maintaining your own equipment. Build productive customer relationships to benefit all involved parties. This Kalamazoo-based role reports to Galesburg and requires a current DOT Medical Card and CDL A.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of ability to perform and fix generators, air compressors and HVAC in a timely manner to the quality and standard required
- Strong understanding of electrical components such as switch gears and automatic transfer switches and HVAC equipment
- The ability to self motivate and self manage time
- A record of promptness to get to and from work on time
- Strong ability to communicate and listen, understanding customer needs and performing the work necessary
- Strong writing skills to complete detailed service reports
- A current DOT Medical Card
- A current CDL A
