Field Technician

Job Summary
The Field Technician is responsible for system installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support, including the handling of warranty claims. Duties involve high voltage DC electricity and require proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and computer skills. Candidates must possess exceptional communication skills, the ability to travel domestically and internationally, and a solid understanding of electrical systems. This role demands physical stamina as it may involve working in extreme environments and handling equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one to three (1-3) year of (field) experience in Electrical/Electronics/Power electronics and or network communications is recommended
- Prior experience in the renewable industry, preferable energy storage, is strongly preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Trade or vocational college focusing on electrical work/renewable energy/electronics preferred
- Electrical safety training, NFPA70E or similar
- Medium Voltage/Substation experience is a plus
- Experience in applied problem-solving methodology
