Job Summary
The Field Technician is responsible for performing service and repair work on earthmoving equipment, requiring skills in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical components. Candidates must complete on-the-job training, classroom instruction, and e-learning. Essential responsibilities include conducting preventative maintenance, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining productivity in service environments. Intermediate technical skills, strong communication abilities, and the physical capacity to handle equipment and parts lifting are also essential. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year work experience involving mechanical repairs or equivalent technical education
- Experience using personal computers and basic typing skills
Additional Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Med Card and CDL preferred
- MVR (required)
