Job Summary
Field Technician conducts testing (soil, concrete, or other) and site observations under supervision, operating testing equipment and interpreting data. Uses drawings, specifications, and diagrams; documents test results in detail and communicates findings to clients and project teams. Requires 2+ years of construction materials testing experience, valid driver’s license/REAL ID, and ACI Grade I certification. May involve outdoor work, overtime, and occasional overnight shifts; relocation assistance available for highly experienced/certified candidates. Position supports career progression within Intertek-PSI in Shreveport, LA.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of construction materials testing experience required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record required
- REAL ID driver's license or state ID required
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I Certification required
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance
