Job Summary
Conduct simple walkthrough assessments of commercial, multifamily, and residential properties to identify eligible energy efficiency measures. Install energy efficient equipment based on findings, record inspection results, and troubleshoot technical problems while acting as the local program representative to customers and contractors. Work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM Central Time, traveling to the Albuquerque metro area and other parts of New Mexico to service industrial, small business, and residential clients. This customer-facing field role requires physical stamina for bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using hand and power tools in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license in the state you are seeking employment in
- Driving record that meets CLEAResult's minimum safety standard
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support
- Must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
- Must consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record
- Must maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment
- Must meet all DOT qualification requirements
- Must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Must be able to get to the local warehouse (4320 Yale Blvd) for pickup
- Must be able to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently
- Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to use repetitive hand motion
- Must be able to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to use power tools
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Must work reliably and consistently, arriving on time and ready to go each day
- Must be able to work well as part of a team
- Must be able to work independently
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in industries such as construction, landscaping, general labor, or other physical/hands-on work
- Comfort and experience using basic hand tools
- Customer service skills
- Prior industry experience
