Job Summary
Conduct hands-on labor across demolition, carpentry, siding, and roofing tasks under Project Foreman supervision. Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety barriers while operating hand and power tools. Assist skilled tradespeople with measurements, tool handling, and workspace organization, plus perform repairs for siding, windows, and decks. Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles; inspect sites for hazards and report unsafe conditions immediately. Transport materials safely to rooftops and support documentation tasks like taking photos and logging usage. Maintain professionalism with clients and property owners while adhering to all safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in construction, roofing, general labor, or related job site work
- Must own basic hand tools (e.g., hammer, utility knife, measuring tape, tool belt, basic screwdrivers/wrenches)
- Dependable transportation to the office or job sites
- Ability to follow instructions, adhere to safety guidelines, and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. regularly and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Ability to safely navigate steep slopes, uneven surfaces, and elevated work areas while maintaining balance and coordination
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb throughout the day
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, and direct sunlight
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and tasks requiring manual dexterity, strength, and endurance
