Job Summary
Lawrence Doors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Technician specializing in commercial and industrial door installations, service, and repairs for our Baldwin Park Branch. Candidates should have hands-on experience with tools, welding, electrical installations, and the ability to troubleshoot high-speed doors. A high school diploma is preferred and the position requires capability for physical tasks including lifting and climbing.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in using hand and power tools
- 3-5 years of commercial coiling overhead door installation and repairs
- Stick welding experience
- Ability to install edge of docks and weld on bumpers
- Ability to run floor loops
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, safety, and documentation
- Ability to climb extension ladders
- Experience with safe operation of scissor lift and forklift
