Job Summary
Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties while troubleshooting reception performance issues and resolving problems from customer equipment to the first distribution amplifier. Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination and proactively suggest service upgrades. Use electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools to diagnose faults, maintaining a valid driver's license and good driving record. Work in small, confined areas, on ladders, and in all weather conditions, with flexibility for overtime and on-call rotations. Complete required training and background checks before starting.
Required Qualifications
- A good driving record
- A valid driver's license in the state you are applying
- Flexibility to go beyond for our customers by working overtime and on-call as needed
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to listen to customers and present solutions in a positive manner
- Ability to work in small and confined areas
- Ability to lift to 80 lbs
- Ability to work on a ladder
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- At least 3 months of customer service or related experience and/or training
- High school diploma or GED
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Background check clearance
- Drug screening clearance
- Reference check clearance
- Ability to meet and maintain DOT program requirements
- Ability to successfully complete and pass a road test examination
- Ability to pass a driver's record safety review
- Ability to pass drug testing
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Ability to provide past employer safety performance history
