Field Technician – Broward County

Job Summary
Remove invasive plants, trees, shrubs, vines, and brush using hand tools and equipment. Apply herbicides using backpack sprayers and other application systems while working in teams to identify and remove non-native vegetation. Perform duties in wooded areas, open land, wetlands, and swamp environments, occasionally working in water ranging from ankle to thigh deep. Carry and wear a 4-gallon backpack sprayer for long durations while standing and walking for extended periods. Tolerate outdoor conditions including heat, humidity, insects, and wildlife such as bees, wasps, snakes, and alligators. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break, with availability to work Fridays if weather delays occur. Reliable transportation is required to travel between varying job sites within South Florida. On-the-job training is provided for motivated candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation to and from varying job sites

- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor labor
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow safety procedures and team instructions
- Must pass a post-offer background check
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be available to work Fridays if weather delays occur during the week
