Job Summary
Support day-to-day operation, setup, and maintenance of Construction Automation systems on an active construction project. Assist with system configuration, mobile device deployment, and processing of drone and site data visualization. Monitor system usage, perform basic troubleshooting of software and connectivity issues, and provide onboarding and issue resolution for project teams. Document common issues and lessons learned to support continuous improvement while following approved standards. Requires a bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of experience supporting construction technology or site-based IT environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent)
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- 6-9 years of relevant work experience
- 3+ years of experience supporting construction technology, digital systems, or site-based IT/automation environments
- Hands-on experience with construction or field technology platforms, including document management systems, reporting tools, mobile applications, or similar systems
- Comfortable working in an active construction or industrial site environment
- Basic understanding of construction functions, disciplines, and workflows across capital projects
- Ability to troubleshoot routine system, application, and device issues in a field environment
- Ability to work effectively with field personnel, supervisors, and contractors
- Ability to communicate technical issues in clear, practical terms to end users
- Experience supporting drone-based data capture and processing workflows (e.g., Propeller, DroneDeploy)
- FAA Part 107 certification or willingness to obtain to support site drone operations
- Hands-on experience with low-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate) supporting field or operational use cases
- Familiarity with construction/project platforms such as TEAMWorks, SetRoute, Smart Completions, Procore, or similar systems
- Experience supporting mobile devices, field connectivity, and jobsite technology (tablets, phones, push-to-talk, wireless networks)
- Experience managing user access, security roles, and basic configuration in construction or enterprise applications
- Experience supporting reporting, data validation, or basic analytics tied to construction workflows
- Prior experience on construction or industrial project sites (semiconductor, battery, pharmaceutical, or similar)
- Relocation Authorized: National - Accompanied
