Field Technician (Audio, Video Installation)

Job Summary
Install new audio, video, and software systems for commercial and government clients, then test components and review installation documents. Perform preventative maintenance visits to ensure rooms and systems operate optimally while providing end-user training. Troubleshoot issues across DSP, teleconferencing, digital signage, and video wall systems, utilizing extensive software installation and wiring experience. Maintain a clean work environment and represent the company with professional behavior during onsite visits. This role requires 50-75% onsite time with occasional travel to other US locations and the ability to work in varied physical conditions including high places and extreme temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive Software installation experience
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft/Windows products
- Windows Active Directory/User Management knowledge
- Windows file and data management knowledge
- Prior experience with wiring (CAT6/CAT5)
- Prior experience mounting equipment
- Ability to work solo or as part of a team
- Action oriented
- Time management skills
- Must be able to stand, kneel and/or crouch for long periods of time
- Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding
- Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in high places, as well as small cramped places
- Must be able to work in hot humid places, as well as cold places
- Travel to customer on site locations within the assigned state or area--up to 50-75%
- Occasional travel to other US locations

- Prior A/V equipment experience
- Prior system installation experience
- Prior digital recording experience
- IT/Networking experience
- CTS and/or vendor certifications
