Field Technician (Audio, Video Installation)

Job Summary
Install and test software components for audio, video, and teleconferencing systems at commercial and government client sites. Perform preventative maintenance visits to ensure optimal system operation and provide end-user training on installed equipment. Troubleshoot technical issues across DSP-based systems, projection devices, and digital signage while maintaining a clean work environment. Review installation documents with customers upon completion and represent the company through professional behavior onsite. This role requires 50-75% onsite travel within an assigned state, occasional domestic travel, and the ability to work in varied physical conditions including high places and extreme temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive Software installation experience
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft/Windows products
- Windows Active Directory/User Management knowledge
- Windows file and data management knowledge
- Prior experience with wiring (CAT6/CAT5)
- Prior experience mounting equipment
- Ability to work solo or as part of a team
- Action oriented
- Time management skills
- Must be able to stand, kneel and/or crouch for long periods of time
- Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding
- Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in high places, as well as small cramped places
- Must be able to work in hot humid places, as well as cold places
- Travel to customer on site locations within the assigned state or area--up to 50-75%
- Occasional travel to other US locations
