Field Technician (Audio, Video Installation)

Job Summary
Complete software installation, test components, and perform preventative maintenance for audio, video, and teleconferencing systems at customer sites. Troubleshoot system issues, provide end-user training, and review installation documents with clients. Maintain a clean work environment while representing the company professionally during onsite visits. This role involves 50-75% onsite time within an assigned state, occasional travel to other US locations, and additional home office duties. Candidates must possess extensive software installation experience, wiring knowledge, and the physical ability to climb ladders and lift over 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive Software installation experience
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft/Windows products
- Windows Active Directory/User Management knowledge
- Windows file and data management knowledge
- Prior experience with wiring (CAT6/CAT5)
- Prior experience mounting equipment
- Ability to work solo or as part of a team
- Action oriented
- Time management skills
- Must be able to stand, kneel and/or crouch for long periods of time
- Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding
- Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in high places, as well as small cramped places
- Must be able to work in hot humid places, as well as cold places
- Travel to customer on site locations within the assigned state or area--up to 50-75%
- Occasional travel to other US locations

- Prior A/V equipment experience
- Prior system installation experience
- Prior digital recording experience
- IT/Networking experience
- CTS and/or vendor certifications
