Field Technician (Audio, Video Installation)

Job Summary
Install new equipment and software, troubleshoot existing systems, and perform routine maintenance for commercial and government clients. Conduct onsite visits at customer locations within the assigned state, spending 50-75% of time on-site while managing occasional travel to other US locations. Provide end-user training, complete preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system operation, and review installation documents with customers upon completion. Support audio, video, teleconferencing, and digital signage systems by troubleshooting issues and determining resolutions. Maintain a clean, neat work environment and represent the company with professional behavior. Requires extensive software installation experience, knowledge of Microsoft/Windows products, and ability to work solo or in a team.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive Software installation experience
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft/Windows products
- Windows Active Directory/User Management knowledge
- Windows file and data management knowledge
- Prior experience with wiring (CAT6/CAT5)
- Prior experience mounting equipment
- Ability to work solo or as part of a team
- Action oriented
- Time management skills
- Must be able to stand, kneel and/or crouch for long periods of time
- Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding
- Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in high places, as well as small cramped places
- Must be able to work in hot humid places, as well as cold places
- Travel to customer on site locations within the assigned state or area--up to 50-75%
- Occasional travel to other US locations

- Prior A/V equipment experience
- Prior system installation experience
- Prior digital recording experience
- IT/Networking experience
- CTS and/or vendor certifications
