Job Summary
Install and repair broadband services for residential and business customers while educating them on proper usage. Travel to assigned premises in various weather conditions, utilizing hand tools and operating company vehicles to navigate changing environments. Solve complex technical issues involving small components and wires, including climbing ladders up to 32 feet and working in confined spaces. Maintain a safe driving record and carry equipment weighing up to 75 lbs across diverse terrains. Complete on-the-job training and coursework to progress through career levels and earn certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in using computers and software applications
- Competent in using hand tools
- Valid Driver's license with safe driving record within company standards
- Walk over various terrains and weather conditions while carrying tools and equipment
- Safely use weight-bearing equipment (up to 345 lbs) and lift up to 75 lbs
- Climb ladders up to 32 feet and work in confined spaces and at heights
- Operate and navigate a company vehicle in changing environments
