Job Summary
Field Technical Specialist responsible for supporting Technical Operations goals and providing specialized technical training on procedural applications of company products. He/she will cover commercial and clinical implants and follow-ups, support clinical studies and data collection, and provide after-hours technical services. This role requires travel to roles within the territory, hands-on device guidance during implant procedures, ongoing product/clinical training for physicians, nurses, and technical staff, and maintaining IBHRE CCDS certification within two years of hire. Strong administrative skills to ensure accurate paperwork for implants and studies, plus the ability to communicate effectively with international teams and customers. The position expects comprehensive knowledge of cardiac rhythm management devices, clinical study documentation, and adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program with a pacemaker school certification
- Maintain full coursework and a 3.0 GPA if pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- Experience with customer-facing relationships including physicians and patients
- Experience with operating room procedures, clinic, and surgical center protocols
- Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS)
- Understanding regulatory requirements by country for the role
- Ability to communicate in English with personnel outside the U.S.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple assignments effectively
- Valid driver’s license
