Job Summary
As a Field Technical Service Engineer, you will support job startups, inspect coatings, and solve challenges in the field. Responsibilities include preparing coating panels for high-performance testing, operating tools and equipment, documenting panel performance, executing certified spray applications, and providing technical support on routine field jobs. You will collaborate with customers, conduct hands-on demonstrations of equipment, train painters and inspectors, support product evaluations, and follow established Technical Service procedures. Physical requirements involve lifting up to 75 lbs, extended computer usage, and occasional exposure to chemicals, with travel required 50%+.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-year college Chemistry or minimum 5 years Technical Service experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Passport
Desired Qualifications
- NACE Certified CIP preferred (Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3)
- Ability to obtain NACE Certification within 6 months
Additional Requirements
- Must pass and maintain respirator fit test requirements
