Field Technical Advisor

Job Summary
Provide a high level of technical advice, counsel, management and support in connection with the design, development and operation of well stimulation services utilizing specialized academic training in science, mathematics, and communications. Essential duties include ensuring compliance with management directives, assisting operations with pre-job rig up, quality control tests, material inventory and equipment layout review, conducting daily operations and safety audits, coordinating technical equipment for maintenance, training field personnel in new technologies and equipment, monitoring injection rates and pressures, generating post-job assessments and reports, coordinating with the National Operations Center on design and implementation of efficiency projects, and performing real-time monitoring and evaluation of well stimulation services. Strong emphasis on analytical problem-solving, technical reporting, client communication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in engineering, operations, safety, and management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Six years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred in lieu of degree
- Knowledge of mathematical and scientific principles applicable to hydraulic fracturing
- Ability to assess and evaluate situations utilizing scientific, geological and operational education, training and experience
- Ability to draft technical reports to management
- Ability to use and apply mathematics and scientific principles to fulfill job duties
- Demonstrated ability to train field personnel in assigned district
- Knowledge of confidential information policies, procedures, and regulations
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
