Job Summary
Primary responsibility involves troubleshooting, electrical/fluid testing, and repairing electrical equipment such as transformers and switchgear. The role requires collaboration with team members to complete assignments and maintain client relationships. Required qualifications include enrollment in a technologist or trades program, mechanical skills, and communication abilities. Candidates must be able to work away from home for extended periods, complete test reports, maintain safety standards, and support field operations.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled to receive a Diploma (Technologist or Trades)
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field
- Ability to effectively problem solve
- Valid driver’s license required for positions utilizing a company vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of various safety standards
- Knowledge of industry standards such as NETA, IEEE and NFPA
- Proven mechanical skills and/or experience with different types of low and high voltage equipment
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report creation
