Job Summary
Entry-level Field Tech I supporting yard operations through maintenance tasks including preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of pumps, gauges, pipes, and valves. Responsibilities span plumbing, electrical, HVAC, construction, and asphalt under the Facilities Maintenance contract; perform diverse maintenance tasks with problem-solving and independent decision-making; engage in physically demanding work with hand and power tools and pressure washers; collaborate in a team and also work autonomously; communicate findings to leadership and follow safety protocols; operate pickups and other small equipment; maintain safety, tool security, and service records; adhere to regulatory compliance and participate in environmental operations and occasional hazardous material responses.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license; Class A Commercial Driver’s License preferred
- Experience in construction, electrical, landscaping, farming, or outdoor occupations advantageous
- Intermediate proficiency requiring teamwork and ability to operate various tools and equipment such as pulleys, vises, mechanic rollers, welding equipment
