Job Summary
Hands-on Field Tech I responsible for silo/bin cleaning, material transfers, and general outdoor labor in agriculture/railroad/grain processing environments. Responsibilities include cleaning from side/top entry using vac systems, assisting in material transfers with industrial vacuums, scraping/cleaning/moving materials in confined spaces, operating hand/power tools, pressure washers, and maintaining PPE and equipment. Work involves outdoor, all-weather conditions, confined-space entry with PPE use, and potential involvement in hazardous material incidents or emergency cleanups. Requires high physical effort, ability to lift heavy equipment, climb, kneel, and work in confined spaces; OSHA 1910.120 HAZWOPER training provided if needed. Travel up to 75%.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license (CDL Class B preferred)
- Experience in construction, farming, landscaping, or similar outdoor labor a plus
- Comfortable working in physically demanding, dirty, and confined environments
- Able to travel frequently and work in all weather conditions
- OSHA 1910.120 HAZWOPER training (provided by company if needed)
