Job Summary
Answer scheduled and emergency response calls promptly while performing hazardous waste remediation, including confined space entry, tank cleaning, oil spill cleanup, and decontamination. Comply with all safe work practices and policies, prioritizing health and safety during daily activities such as drum handling, high-pressure washing, and sweeping. Work a rotating shift schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with on-call availability for emergency responses. May require out-of-town travel dependent on service center projects and ability to work in adverse conditions while lifting over 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a rotating shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- On-Call based on the rotating On-Call schedule for Emergency Response
- May require out of town travel
- Ability to work under adverse conditions (heat & cold)
- Physically able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary
- Physically able to lift > 50lbs routinely
- Accountability and punctuality
- Pass a Pre-Employment Physical
- Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Alcohol testing
- Pass a Pre-Employment Background Screening
- Pass the Company's Auto Insurance Qualifiers
- Pass the OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training
- Must be able to obtain Transportation Worker (TWIC) clearance
- Able to read, write, and understand the English language
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Valid Driver's License
