Job Summary
Perform welding and grinding functions per job specifications, ensuring quality welds and compliance with safety policies. Candidates must meet the required welding tests and maintain high pass rates on weld inspections. Experience in tank building is preferred. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with field supervision and adhere to company conduct codes. Physical tasks involve lifting heavy materials and working at heights in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Tank Building experience, preferred
- Must obtain and maintain an active status within the drug testing program and pass background screening
- Must possess or be able to pass the Basic Safety Council Class Courses
- Must complete the Matrix Service Basic Safety training and site-specific training
- Must possess a valid TWIC card
- Maintain clean shaven and/or free of facial hair for proper respirator fit
Additional Requirements
- Site may require fire retardant clothing
- Must be willing to frequently travel/relocate
- Must be willing to work frequent overtime
