Job Summary
Field Tank Welder responsible for welding and grinding per job specs, selecting equipment, and planning layout. Requires passing specific weld tests (2G/3G/4G SMAW E6010; 9% Ni tests for Specialty Vessel Welders) with 95-100% pass rate on weld X-ray/visual exams. Must read prints, follow welding procedure specifications, and adhere to safety policies. Includes full-time benefits and opportunities for advancement; travel/relocation may be required; EEO/affirmative action employer.
Required Qualifications
- Tank Building experience, preferred.
- Must obtain and maintain an active status within the drug testing program and pass background screening.
- Must possess or be able to pass the Basic Safety Council Class Courses
- Must complete the Matrix Service Basic Safety training and site-specific training.
- Must possess a valid TWIC card.
- Site may require fire retardant clothing.
- Must be willing to frequently travel/relocate.
- Must be willing to work frequent overtime.
