Job Summary
Field Systems Technician responsible for pest management, sanitation, water treatment, system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support across diverse client environments. Core duties include IPM for agricultural/commercial/residential customers, sanitation and disinfection, installation and maintenance of water treatment and related systems, water sampling and chemical residual analysis, regulatory compliance, safe chemical handling per HAZMAT/DOT, documentation and reporting, after-hours service, and travel across service territories. Requires problem-solving, independent work ethic, and strong communication with customers. Preferred: associate degree in related field; pest control/HAZMAT/water-treatment certifications; relevant field experience; ability to obtain required licenses within 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record
- Ability to pass background, drug, and physical screening requirements
- Ability to obtain Pest Control Applicator licensing within 90 days of hire
- Ability to obtain HAZMAT certification if required
- Willingness to travel throughout California, Colorado, Iowa, and other service territories as needed
- Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, crawl in confined spaces, wear respiratory protection, and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
