Job Summary
Field Systems Engineer will support the design, specification, quoting, and installation of material handling equipment (MHE) with a focus on autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). Responsibilities include AMR quoting and specification, on-site installation support, system design and integration for warehouse and manufacturing environments, process optimization, technical consultation on MHE selection and automation strategy, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, and customers. The role requires hands-on deployment, data-driven performance monitoring, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Suitable for individuals with a engineering degree and 3-5 years of AMR/MHE experience; PMP or related certifications are a plus; frequent travel is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in MHE system design, automation, or a related field, with a strong focus on AMRs
- Experience in project management and vendor coordination within the material handling industry
- Relevant certifications in automation technology, robotics, or project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Frequent travel required
