Job Summary
Field Systems Sales & Projects Manager responsible for driving sales activity and overseeing the execution of smaller projects within the Field Systems Group. Responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, conducting site visits to gather technical requirements, leading proposal development and hardware recommendations, managing opportunities from proposal to awarded project, supporting project execution, coordinating small projects from kickoff to completion, and ensuring project profitability through financial oversight and change-management activities. The role requires collaboration with engineering, field service, accounting, and operations teams, and a strong familiarity with CRM and ERP systems. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred; 6+ years of equivalent industrial-controls experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree. Knowledge of industrial control systems, manufacturing processes, and experience in technical sales or applications engineering is highly desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in industrial controls and manufacturing environments required
- 2–5+ years of experience in a controls integration or industrial automation environment preferred
- Experience with technical sales, proposal development, or applications engineering is highly desirable
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica)
- Understanding of industrial control systems and manufacturing processes
